des Entwurfs-programmes 

There is a deep divide between our scientific and our romantic understanding of Nature. Architectural form was considered an integral part of the natural world. In the 18th century, with the dawn of romanticism, we began to separate our sensual perception of nature from its scientific understanding. With the advent of the age of the Anthropocene, that opposition has become obsolete. In our design studio, NATURAL HABITAT we explore ideas for a new union of natural and architectonic form. The students work on the transformation of a cooperative housing estate and its human-made landscape.
