des Entwurfs-programmes |
This studio works on the idea that a substantial understanding of todays technology (internet of things, big data, machine intelligence ...) changes the perspective to architectural theory and will result in different architectural designs and building constructions.
We all are worried about the health of our planet. Technology. Climate. Pollution. Consumption. We want a change. Students will develop a brand with small shops around the world. Instead of 'selling sneakers', the CHAMBERS OF NATURES celebrate the vividness of nature. The idea is 1) to save 'precious pieces of nature' and 2) sell 'refined pieces of trash'. The CHAMBERS OF NATURES want to stimulate a life of recycling, a life with and not against nature. Students will 1) develop a conception of the CHAMBERS OF NATURES, 2) implement it as a logistical node in the internet of materials, energy and information, 3) design a principle layout of small shops and specify routines of operations, and 4) specify applications to interface and promote the schemes of the CHAMBERS OF NATURES. Students will 5) exemplify their conception in detailed architectural designs in three different cities around the world. They will deliver a website with texts, schemes, and a short video. |
